Goldenrods as a group are the top keystone species in Washtenaw County, as they support 135 species of butterfly and moth caterpillars that provide food for a range of other animals. This perennial goldenrod with graceful arched, narrow leaves attracts a range of native bees and butterflies in the fall. Showy; eye-catching when paired with blue or purple asters. Prefers full sun and moist to wet soils. 3-4'.
